What are the memorials about?

Gippsland Funeral Services understands the special need of families to memorialise their loved ones.

Traditional physical memorials frequently don't suit modern families who often live in different locations. The internet offers a unique way of providing a memorial that is accessible across town, across the state and even across the world.

Gippsland Funeral Services has made available space on this web site for families to memorialise their loved ones. This service is available to families who entrusted the care of their loved one to Gippsland Funeral Services at any stage since the firm started in 1932. The standard memorial is complimentary to these families with extra charges only applying to additional options.

What does the Complimentary Standard Memorial include?

The wording of the memorial is up to you. Many families choose to have wording similar to the following:

At Rest

Up to 50 words are included in the complimentary standard memorial (1000 words if text provided electronically) along with a photo. The photo will be re-sized to the standard size (max 300 by 300 pixels) used on the website.

Additional objects such as extra words, extra photos and alterations to existing memorials will be charged according to our current rates.

What is the cost?

The standard memorial of up to 50 words (1000 words if text provided electronically) and one photo is complimentary to memorialise those people where Gippsland Funeral Services was entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

Additional words over the standard allowance - $10 per 50 words.

Additional photos and graphics - $10 each

How do I order a memorial?

Simply fill in and submit the application form below.

If you would prefer to send a hard copy, download the application form and send it to our Sale Office at 1390 Maffra Road Sale Vic 3850. Just right-click (on Mac: option-click) the button below and choose "save target as" to download. The file is in Adobe PDF format.

What about the photos?

Photos can be e-mailed to office1@gippslandfuneralservices.com.au or mailed to our Central Office at 1390 Maffra Road Sale Vic 3850.

If e-mailing, j-peg or gif preferred with a maximum size of 300 by 300 pixels. We can resize the photo if necessary.
